PROTOTYPE Featured In 'Guitar Hero III' Video Game
October 29, 2007Los Angeles-based progressive thrash metal band PROTOTYPE is featured in the new Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock video game with the song "The Way It Ends", taken from the group's latest album, "Continuum". Players are able to put their skills to the test, playing lead, rhythm or bass guitar on this challenging PROTOTYPE track. Also included in Guitar Hero III are songs from METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES, IRON MAIDEN, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, THE SEX PISTOLS, SLAYER and other top rock artists.
"We are beyond stoked to be included in the new Guitar Hero III game," said PROTOTYPE guitarist Kragen Lum. "Vince, Kirk and I are all looking forward to seeing some videos of gamers playing 'The Way It Ends' on Expert mode!"
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock includes explosive new content and features including a multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, a host of exclusive unlockable content and visually stunning rock venues. Expanded online multiplayer game modes also allow fans worldwide to compete head-to-head for true legendary rock status. Fresh downloadable content are also offered on multiple platforms, and players can now shred to a killer set list from many of the most popular rock songs ever recorded.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, published by RedOctane and developed by Neversoft, is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.
